The outer material is a fire retardant, two-way stretch, anti-microbial, polyurethane membrane laminated to a polyester knit. It is also moisture vapour transferring (‘breathable’). This allows moisture vapour to migrate away from the body heat and pressure source. This enhances patient comfort, helping them to remain sweat free. Disposable medical covers are also available for the Care Chair bean bag. This ensures that infection control standards are easily met and maintained. Made from Flame Retardant waterproof, M.V.P. (Moisture Vapour Permeable) two way stretch fabric, our Medical fabric is easily wiped clean and can be washed up to a temperature of 70 deg C if necessary. Fully taped seams and a tensioned zip flap guards against ingress of fluids.
