Czechoslovakian CZ-82 9x18mm Makarov – Surplus Pistol
$ 90.35
- Description The CZ-82 was the standard-issue sidearm of the Czechoslovak People’s Army starting in 1983, replacing the CZ-52. Manufactured by Česká zbrojovka in Uherský Brod, it was designed specifically around the Soviet 9x18mm Makarov cartridge. the standard Com-Bloc pistol round. What set the CZ-82 apart from every other Eastern Bloc sidearm was its feature set: a double-stack 12-round magazine when most competitors held 8, an ambidextrous magazine release and safety, a polygonal barrel for improved accuracy, and an SA/DA trigger. In 1983, no other military pistol in the world offered all of that in one package. The CZ-82 never left Czechoslovakia commercially. it was reserved exclusively for military and security forces. The export version, the CZ-83, was offered in multiple calibers, but the 82 in 9x18mm remained a military-only weapon. That exclusivity makes these genuine surplus examples increasingly collectible.
