- Aberlour’s hallmark notes of dark fruit and toffee shine through the richer flavours imparted by the sherry casks. Making this a beautifully matured Speyside whisky of great texture and complexity – the sort of dram made for enjoying by the fire in good company. Nose: Dried oranges and sultanas, then vanilla, almond oil and some fruit and nut chocolate. Palate: Stone fruit; peaches, nectarines and yellow plums. Orange liqueur, stem ginger, spiced fruit cake and chocolate biscuits. Very likeable. Finish: Long, with lingering notes of orange and caramel. Bottle size: 750ml Alc: 43%
